Manufacturing Technician

The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for supporting the production process by operating equipment, assembling components, and performing quality checks. This role ensures products are manufactured efficiently, safely, and to the required specifications in a factory or plant setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor production machinery and tools.
  • Assemble parts or components according to technical drawings, blueprints, or work instructions.
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance and report any issues to maintenance teams.
  • Conduct visual and functional quality inspections of materials and finished products.
  • Accurately document production data and maintain records in compliance with company standards.
  • Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and safe machine handling.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and help identify process inefficiencies.
  • Collaborate with team members, engineers, and supervisors to resolve production issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions, schematics, or technical drawings.
  • Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with hand tools, measuring instruments, and basic computer systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.
Working Conditions
  • May involve standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Work is performed in a factory or industrial environment, which may involve noise, dust, or temperature variations.
  • Use of safety equipment and adherence to company safety policies is mandatory.
  • May require overtime, shift work, or weekend availability based on production needs.
